About the Role
The successful Sociology Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, challenging lessons that develop students' understanding of key sociological theories, concepts and contemporary issues. You will encourage students to think critically, analyse evidence and confidently apply their knowledge to examination questions.
The department is looking for a teacher who can create a positive classroom environment while maintaining high expectations for behaviour, participation and academic achievement. There will also be opportunities to contribute to curriculum development and wider departmental activities.

Experience and Qualifications
Degree in Sociology or a related subject
QTS or recognised teaching qualification
Ability to teach Sociology across KS4-KS5
Strong subject knowledge
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
Commitment to securing strong outcomes for students
