Maths Teacher Role in Nottingham

A successful faith secondary school in Nottingham is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join its dedicated Mathematics department. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that develop students' mathematical fluency, reasoning and problem-solving skills across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach engaging Maths lessons across KS3-KS5

  • Plan and deliver well-structured lessons for a range of abilities

  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations where appropriate

  • Use assessment and feedback to support student progress

  • Create a positive and well-managed classroom environment

  • Contribute to department planning and enrichment activities

Candidate Requirements

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Degree in Mathematics or a related subject

  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level

  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

  • Passion for helping students achieve their potential

  • ECTs are welcome to apply
