The Opportunity

We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic Chemistry Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Surrey.

This is not a permanent or full-time position. Teachers will instead be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations and the needs of local schools.

Assignments may range from individual cover days to short blocks of supply, allowing you to continue teaching while maintaining control over your working schedule.

The Role

As a Daily Supply Chemistry Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons while helping students develop their scientific knowledge and practical skills.

Lesson Delivery: Deliver clear and well-structured Chemistry lessons across the relevant Key Stages.

Practical Work: Where required, support practical investigations and demonstrations while following appropriate laboratory health and safety procedures.

Student Understanding: Help students develop their knowledge of chemical principles, reactions, equations and scientific processes.

Classroom Management: Maintain a calm, focused and purposeful learning environment.

Professional Responsibilities: Follow school policies, communicate effectively with colleagues and maintain professional standards throughout each assignment.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent where applicable.

• A confident and adaptable approach.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
