The successful Drama Teacher will join a creative and supportive department and deliver lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will introduce students to a wide range of theatrical styles, practitioners, performance techniques and creative processes.

At KS3, you will help students develop confidence, teamwork and communication through practical performance and exploration. At GCSE, you will prepare students for both the practical and theoretical elements of the course, supporting them in developing performances and written analysis.

The school wants a teacher who can create a classroom environment where students feel comfortable taking creative risks while maintaining clear expectations around behaviour and participation.

You will plan lessons carefully, assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. There will also be opportunities to support productions, performances and wider extracurricular activities, making this a particularly rewarding role for someone who enjoys contributing beyond the classroom.

The salary for this Drama Teacher position will be paid to scale on a contract to scale MPS/UPS.
