This is a strong opportunity for a Computer Science Teacher to join a well-established department and teach students across KS3 and KS4. You will deliver lessons covering areas such as programming, algorithms, data representation, computer systems, networks and online safety.

The successful candidate will be able to break down technical concepts into clear, manageable steps and support students in developing confidence with programming and computational thinking.

At GCSE, you will help students prepare for examinations while ensuring they understand the underlying concepts rather than relying solely on memorisation. Practical programming activities will form an important part of the curriculum, and you will support students as they develop their ability to solve problems independently.

You will also contribute to assessment, curriculum planning and departmental discussions. The school welcomes teachers who are interested in developing resources and finding new ways to make Computer Science relevant and engaging.

  • Good classroom management

  • Commitment to developing students' digital and problem-solving skills

Salary

The salary for this Computer Science Teacher position will be paid to scale on a contract to scale MPS/UPS.
