Teacher of Physics | Independent School | Manchester
An academically ambitious independent school in Manchester is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Physics Teacher from October half term.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established Science department and teach within an environment where students are encouraged to think critically, investigate ideas and develop a genuine understanding of the subject.
The role will include:
Teaching Physics across KS3 and KS4
Teaching GCSE Physics where appropriate
Planning practical and engaging Science lessons
Supporting students with examination preparation
Developing students' analytical and problem-solving skills
Assessing and monitoring progress
Contributing to departmental planning and wider school activities
The school is looking for someone who can combine excellent subject knowledge with an engaging classroom presence.
You'll ideally have:
QTS or equivalent
A degree or strong academic background in Physics or a related subject
Secondary teaching experience
Excellent classroom management
A passion for practical Science and student development
