A high-achieving secondary school in Manchester is seeking a Computing Teacher for a full-time temporary position starting ASAP.
This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking department where technology, digital literacy and practical Computing skills are an important part of the curriculum.
What You'll Be Teaching
The successful teacher will deliver Computing across KS3 and KS4, supporting students as they develop their understanding of programming, computational thinking and wider digital technologies.
You will be responsible for:
Planning and delivering engaging Computing lessons
Teaching programming and core Computing concepts
Preparing students for GCSE where required
Differentiating effectively for different abilities
Assessing progress and providing constructive feedback
Contributing to department resources and curriculum development
What We're Looking For
You should have strong subject knowledge and be confident delivering Computing within a secondary setting.
QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification is required, alongside good classroom management and a genuine interest in helping students develop their digital skills.
