Drama Teacher – Independent School in Hampshire
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Drama Teacher to join an established independent school in Hampshire from October half term.
Drama has a strong place within the wider curriculum and co-curricular life of the school, making this an ideal position for someone who enjoys both classroom teaching and encouraging students to get involved in performance.
What you'll be responsible for:
Teaching Drama across the secondary age range
Delivering engaging and creative lessons
Supporting students through GCSE-level study where required
Encouraging confidence, creativity and collaboration
Contributing to productions and wider performing arts activities
Working alongside colleagues within the wider Arts department
Helping students develop both practical and theoretical skills
We're looking for a teacher who:
Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Drama
Can inspire students through practical and academic teaching
Has excellent classroom management
Is creative, organised and collaborative
Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
The school offers a supportive and academically ambitious environment, with excellent opportunities for students to develop their interests beyond the classroom.
