We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and reliable History Teacher to register for daily supply work across Lambeth.

The Opportunity

We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic History Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Lambeth.

This is not a permanent or full-time position. Instead, teachers will be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations and the requirements of local schools.

Assignments may range from individual cover days to short blocks of supply, providing flexibility while allowing you to continue making a positive impact on students' learning.

The Role

As a Daily Supply History Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured History lessons while encouraging students to think critically about the past.

Lesson Delivery: Deliver clear and engaging History lessons across the relevant Key Stages, following existing lesson plans and curriculum resources where provided.

Historical Understanding: Support students in developing their knowledge of key historical periods, events, individuals and themes.

Critical Thinking: Encourage students to analyse evidence, consider different interpretations and develop well-supported historical arguments.

Classroom Management: Maintain a calm, respectful and purposeful learning environment.

Professional Responsibilities: Follow school policies, communicate effectively with colleagues and maintain a high standard of professionalism throughout each assignment.
