The Opportunity

We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic PE Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Surrey.

This is not a permanent or full-time position. Teachers will be offered day-to-day supply assignments according to their availability, experience, preferred locations and the requirements of local schools.

Assignments may involve individual cover days or short blocks of work, giving you the freedom to choose opportunities that fit around your existing commitments.

The Role

As a Daily Supply PE Teacher, you will deliver engaging practical and theoretical PE lessons while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.

Practical Lesson Delivery: Lead a range of sporting and physical activities that develop students' skills, fitness and teamwork.

Classroom Management: Establish clear expectations and maintain a positive, well-organised learning environment both indoors and outdoors.

Health & Safety: Ensure all activities are carried out safely and in line with school procedures and appropriate risk assessments.

Student Engagement: Encourage students of all abilities to participate confidently and develop a positive attitude towards physical activity.

Professional Responsibilities: Follow school policies, communicate effectively with colleagues and maintain professional standards throughout every assignment.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent where applicable.

• Experience teaching PE across the relevant Key Stages.

• Good knowledge of a range of sports and physical activities.

• Awareness of appropriate PE health and safety procedures.

• A confident, energetic and adaptable approach.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to quickly establish positive relationships with students.

• A valid legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
