The Opportunity

We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic Economics Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Croydon.

This is not a permanent or full-time position. Teachers will instead be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations and the needs of local schools.

Assignments may range from individual cover days to short blocks of supply, allowing you to continue teaching while maintaining control over your working schedule.

The Role

As a Daily Supply Economics Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured Economics lessons while encouraging students to apply their knowledge to real-world situations.

Lesson Delivery: Deliver clear and engaging Economics lessons across the relevant Key Stages.

Subject Knowledge: Cover areas such as markets, supply and demand, business activity, government policy, inflation, employment and the wider economy where required.

Student Engagement: Encourage students to analyse economic issues, interpret data and develop well-reasoned arguments.

Classroom Management: Maintain a calm, focused and purposeful learning environment.

Professional Responsibilities: Follow school policies, communicate effectively with colleagues and maintain a high standard of professionalism throughout each assignment.
