The school is looking for an enthusiastic French Teacher who can deliver enjoyable, purposeful lessons and encourage students to develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
You will teach French across KS3 and KS4, helping students build a secure understanding of vocabulary, grammar and cultural context. At GCSE level, you will support students with examination preparation and help them develop the confidence to communicate effectively in French.
The successful teacher will be expected to plan well-structured lessons, assess student understanding and adapt teaching appropriately. You will also work with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning and develop resources that support students at different stages of their learning.
This position would suit a teacher who enjoys working collaboratively and who wants to play an active role within a department. The school is keen to appoint someone with a positive attitude who can build strong relationships with students and encourage them to take pride in their progress.

French Teacher - Experience and Qualifications
French Degree or relevant degree
QTS
Experience teaching French at KS3 and KS4
Strong spoken and written French
GCSE teaching experience
Excellent communication skills
Ability to motivate students and build positive relationships
Strong classroom management
Salary
The salary for this French Teacher position will be paid to scale on a contract to scale MPS/UPS.
