An Outstanding Secondary School in Northampton is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join its successful Art Department. The role offers the opportunity to inspire students through practical and theoretical Art lessons, developing their creativity, technical skills and confidence. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across KS3-KS5

• Develop students' creative and practical skills

• Teach a range of artistic techniques and disciplines

• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations

• Assess progress and provide constructive feedback

• Maintain excellent classroom and behaviour standards

• Contribute to exhibitions, enrichment and departmental activities

Candidate Requirements

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

• Strong Art and Design subject knowledge

• Experience teaching Art at secondary level

• Excellent classroom management skills

• Creative and engaging teaching approach

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
