Science Teacher Role in a Faith Secondary School

A welcoming Faith Secondary School in Dudley is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join its successful department. The role involves delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 for the right candidate. Current Dudley Science vacancies highlight the need for teachers who can confidently deliver Biology, Chemistry and Physics while developing students' practical and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3-KS5

  • Teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics

  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations

  • Deliver practical investigations safely

  • Assess progress and provide constructive feedback

  • Differentiate lessons to meet varied learning needs

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour

  • Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment

Candidate Requirements

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Strong Science subject knowledge

  • Experience teaching secondary Science

  • Confidence teaching KS3 and KS4

  • Excellent classroom management skills

  • Strong communication and organisational abilities

  • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
