An Independent Secondary School in Sheffield is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join its successful Art Department. The role involves delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching available for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across KS3-KS5

• Develop students' creative and technical skills

• Teach a range of media, techniques and artistic styles

• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level where required

• Assess progress and provide constructive feedback

• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom practice

• Contribute to exhibitions, enrichment and departmental activities

Candidate Requirements

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

• Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design

• Experience teaching Art at secondary level

• Excellent classroom management skills

• Creative and engaging teaching approach

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
