A selective grammar academy in Bedford is looking to appoint a French Teacher to its successful languages department. The school serves pupils aged 11–18 and has high expectations for academic achievement. You will teach French across KS3–KS5, develop students’ communication skills and prepare examination groups. The successful candidate should have excellent French, strong classroom management and a genuine interest in French-speaking cultures. The successful candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management and a professional approach to planning and assessment. A relevant teaching qualification and secondary teaching experience are desirable.
