An independent co-educational school in Hitchin is seeking a Geography Teacher for a full-time fixed-term appointment. The school educates pupils aged 11–18 and combines academic achievement with a wide programme of trips and enrichment. You will teach physical and human Geography across KS3–KS5 and encourage students to apply geographical concepts to real-world issues. The successful candidate should have strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for fieldwork. The successful candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management and a professional approach to planning and assessment. A relevant teaching qualification and secondary teaching experience are desirable.
