A selective grammar school in Hitchin is seeking an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join its established sports department. The school serves pupils aged 11–18 and combines high academic expectations with a strong programme of competitive sport. You will teach practical and theoretical PE and contribute to teams, fixtures and enrichment. The successful candidate should have broad sporting knowledge, strong organisation and the ability to motivate pupils to perform at their best. The successful candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management and a professional approach to planning and assessment. A relevant teaching qualification and secondary teaching experience are desirable.
