The Opportunity

We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic PE Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Croydon.

This is not a permanent or full-time position. Instead, teachers will be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations and the requirements of local schools.

Assignments may involve individual cover days or short blocks of work, allowing you to choose opportunities that fit around your existing commitments.

The Role

As a Daily Supply PE Teacher, you will deliver engaging practical and theoretical PE lessons while maintaining a safe, inclusive and well-organised environment.

Practical Lesson Delivery: Lead engaging PE activities that develop students' physical skills, fitness, teamwork and understanding of different sports.

Classroom & Behaviour Management: Maintain clear expectations and ensure students remain focused, respectful and appropriately engaged throughout lessons.

Health & Safety: Ensure activities are carried out safely, following school procedures and appropriate risk assessments where required.

Student Engagement: Encourage participation from students of all abilities and create an inclusive environment where pupils feel confident taking part.

Professional Responsibilities: Follow school policies, communicate effectively with staff and maintain professional standards throughout every assignment.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent where applicable.

• Experience teaching PE across the relevant Key Stages.

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

• A confident, energetic and adaptable approach.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• An awareness of appropriate PE health and safety procedures.
