A strong English Teacher can bring literature and language to life, helping students develop their confidence, communication skills and ability to think critically. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable English Teachers to register for daily supply work across Kingston.

This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety and want the flexibility to work on a day-to-day basis without the commitment of a permanent position.

The Opportunity

We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic English Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Kingston.

This is not a permanent or full-time position. Teachers will instead be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations and the needs of local schools.

Assignments can range from individual cover days to short blocks of supply, giving teachers the opportunity to remain flexible while continuing to make a positive impact on students' learning.

The Role

As a Daily Supply English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons while maintaining a positive and purposeful classroom environment.

Lesson Delivery: Deliver clear and engaging English lessons across the relevant Key Stages, covering both Language and Literature where required.

Classroom Management: Establish clear expectations and maintain a calm, focused and respectful classroom environment.

Student Engagement: Encourage students to participate actively in lessons while developing their reading, writing, analytical and communication skills.

Assessment & Feedback: Support students with their learning and provide appropriate feedback where required.

Professional Responsibilities: Follow school policies, communicate effectively with colleagues and maintain a high standard of professionalism throughout each assignment.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent where applicable.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to quickly establish positive relationships with students.

• Reliability and professionalism.

• A genuine commitment to supporting students' learning and development.

• A valid legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
