This position would suit a teacher who can make Business Studies practical and relevant. Students should leave lessons understanding not only the terminology behind business but also how decisions made by businesses affect employees, customers and the wider economy.
You will teach GCSE Business Studies and prepare students thoroughly for their examinations. This will involve developing their understanding of topics such as marketing, finance, operations, human resources and business strategy, while also helping them apply their knowledge to real business scenarios.
The ability to teach exam technique effectively will be important. Students will need to understand how to structure longer answers, interpret information and apply their knowledge to unfamiliar situations.
The successful teacher will be expected to plan carefully, monitor student progress and work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a consistent approach across the department.

Salary
