A fantastic Secondary School in Merseyside is looking to appoint a committed Physics Teacher to join its Science department as soon as possible. The school is seeking someone who can bring energy and enthusiasm to the classroom while maintaining high academic expectations.

Physics can be a challenging subject for students, so the ability to make difficult concepts understandable is particularly important. The successful teacher will use clear explanations, practical examples and effective questioning to help students build confidence.
You will teach general Science at KS3 before specialising in Physics at KS4. For candidates with the relevant experience, there may also be opportunities to teach A-Level Physics.
The school is looking for a teacher who can maintain a positive classroom atmosphere while ensuring students are challenged. You will plan lessons carefully, assess progress and provide appropriate feedback to help students improve.

• Qualified Teacher Status

• GCSE Physics experience

Salary
The salary for this Physics Teacher position will be paid to scale on a contract to scale MPS/UPS, depending on experience and qualifications.
