Premises Manager Role in an Outstanding Primary School

An Outstanding Primary School in Norfolk is seeking a reliable, practical and proactive Premises Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the school site.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong facilities, maintenance or premises experience who takes pride in creating a safe, secure and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the school premises

• Open and close the site securely

• Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs

• Complete health and safety and compliance checks

• Monitor the condition of buildings, grounds and facilities

• Coordinate contractors and maintenance visits

• Manage site security, keys and emergency procedures

• Support room setups, events and school activities

• Previous premises, facilities, caretaking or maintenance experience
