Key Responsibilities

• Teach high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE)

• Plan and deliver lessons that build numerical fluency, multi-step problem solving, and analytical reasoning

• Prepare Key Stage 4 students for GCSE examinations through structured assessment, feedback, and targeted revision workshops

• Monitor, track, and report on pupil progress using school data systems to ensure every student reaches their potential

• Serve as a Form Tutor, delivering holistic pastoral support, academic tracking, and student mentoring

• Collaborate with department colleagues to continually refine schemes of work and digital learning platforms

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognized UK teaching credentials (PGCE / SCITT)

• Honors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline

• Proven track record (or strong potential during training) for delivering strong GCSE Mathematics outcomes
