Our client is seeking a passionate Biology Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Ipswich. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Biology across KS4 and KS5, with the opportunity to contribute to KS3 Science where appropriate. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive department with strong leadership and a commitment to achieving excellent outcomes for students.

School Information

The school is an established mixed secondary school with a positive reputation within the Ipswich community. It has high expectations for teaching and learning and provides students with a broad and ambitious curriculum. The Science department is well equipped and encourages students to develop strong scientific knowledge, practical skills and independent thinking. Experience and Qualifications

  • Biology Teacher with the ability to teach KS4 and KS5

  • Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level Biology

  • Ability to contribute to KS3 Science

  • Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE

  • Legal ability to work within the UK
