Our client is searching for a passionate Music Teacher to join a successful school in Colchester. The successful candidate will teach Music across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to contribute at KS5 depending on experience. The school is looking for a teacher who can inspire students through engaging lessons and contribute positively to the wider musical life of the school.

The school has a strong standing within the Colchester community and offers a supportive environment for both students and staff. Alongside strong academic outcomes, the school values enrichment and extracurricular activities. The Music department provides students with opportunities to develop performance, composition and theoretical skills and benefits from a dedicated team and good specialist resources.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Music Teacher with experience teaching KS3 and KS4

  • Ability to teach KS5 would be an advantage

  • Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE

  • Strong musical knowledge and performance skills

  • Legal ability to work within the UK
