The Opportunity

We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic Religious Education Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Croydon.

This is not a permanent or full-time position. Teachers will instead be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations and the needs of local schools.

Daily supply can involve individual cover days or short blocks of work, allowing you to maintain flexibility while gaining experience across different school communities.

The Role

As a Daily Supply RE Teacher, you will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons while encouraging students to discuss different beliefs and perspectives respectfully.

Lesson Delivery: Deliver clear and engaging RE lessons covering relevant religious, ethical, philosophical and cultural topics.

Classroom Discussion: Encourage thoughtful discussion and debate while ensuring students feel comfortable expressing their views respectfully.

Classroom Management: Maintain a calm, inclusive and purposeful classroom environment.

Student Progress: Support students in developing their knowledge, critical thinking and ability to evaluate different viewpoints.

Professional Responsibilities: Follow school policies, communicate effectively with colleagues and maintain professional standards throughout each assignment.
