We are currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable Drama Teachers to register for daily supply work across Merton.

The Opportunity
We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic Drama Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Merton.
This is not a permanent or full-time position. Teachers will instead be offered day-to-day supply assignments according to their availability, experience, preferred areas and the needs of local schools.
Daily supply can be an excellent way to maintain flexibility while continuing to teach and make a positive impact. Assignments can vary from single-day cover to short-term blocks, giving you the opportunity to work in different school environments.
The Role
As a Daily Supply Drama Teacher, you will deliver engaging Drama lessons while creating an inclusive environment where students feel confident participating and developing their performance skills.
Lesson Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging Drama activities that encourage creativity, confidence and active participation.
Performance Skills: Develop students' understanding of performance, characterisation, movement, voice and dramatic techniques.
Classroom Management: Establish clear expectations and maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment.
Student Engagement: Encourage students of different abilities to participate confidently in practical and theoretical Drama activities.
Professional Responsibilities: Follow school policies, communicate effectively with staff and maintain professional standards throughout each assignment.

What We Are Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent where applicable.
Experience teaching Drama within the relevant Key Stages.
Strong classroom management skills.

Excellent communication skills.
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with students.
Confidence delivering both practical and theoretical Drama lessons.
Reliability and professionalism.
A valid legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
