This is an exciting opportunity for a Mathematics teacher who wants to join a well-established department and make a genuine difference to students' progress. The successful candidate will teach engaging and well-structured Mathematics lessons, helping students develop confidence with mathematical concepts while encouraging them to approach problems logically and independently.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons across the relevant Key Stages, adapting your teaching to meet different abilities within the classroom. The department has a clear and consistent approach to teaching, but teachers are encouraged to bring their own enthusiasm and creativity to lessons.
You will be joining a collaborative team where colleagues share resources, discuss teaching strategies and support one another. The school is particularly keen to hear from teachers who have high expectations of their students and enjoy creating a positive classroom environment.

Mathematics Teacher - Experience and Qualifications
• Mathematics Degree or a relevant degree
• Qualified Teacher Status
• Experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4
• GCSE Mathematics teaching experience
• KS5 teaching experience desirable but not essential
• Strong subject knowledge
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Ability to differentiate effectively
• High expectations of student achievement
• Ability to work collaboratively within a department

Salary
The salary for this Mathematics Teacher position will be paid to scale on a contract to scale MPS/UPS, depending on experience and qualifications.
