About the Role
As HR Assistant, you will support the smooth running of the school's HR processes and provide a responsive service to employees and managers.

Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR function.
Assist with recruitment campaigns and coordinate interviews.
Prepare contracts, offer letters and other HR documentation.
Support onboarding and induction processes for new employees.
Coordinate pre-employment checks, including DBS and safeguarding checks.
Maintain accurate electronic and paper personnel records.
Update the school's HR database and employee records.
Assist with monitoring staff absence and maintaining appropriate records.
Respond professionally to routine HR queries from staff and managers.
Support the organisation of staff training and development activities.
Assist with payroll-related administration where required.
Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets and correspondence.
Maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee information.
Ensure HR procedures are followed consistently and accurately.
Liaise with external organisations and recruitment providers where necessary.

Candidate Requirements

Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
