A successful and well-organised primary school in Greenwich is seeking an experienced and highly organised Data Manager to join its administrative and leadership support team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a key role within the school and would suit someone who enjoys working with information, systems and deadlines while understanding the importance of accurate data within an educational environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining reliable student and school data, producing reports, supporting assessment processes and ensuring information is available to staff when required.
The role requires excellent attention to detail alongside strong communication and organisational skills. You will work with senior leaders, teachers, office staff and other colleagues, ensuring that school information is accurate, secure and presented in a useful format.

You will work alongside senior leaders and administrative colleagues and will have responsibility for a range of systems and reporting requirements.
Data and Administration Team
The Data Manager will support the school with the management, organisation and reporting of pupil information.
The role will involve maintaining databases, checking information, preparing reports and assisting with assessment and reporting cycles. You will need to be comfortable working with large amounts of information and able to identify inconsistencies before they become problems.
You will also be expected to manage deadlines effectively, particularly during busy periods such as assessment cycles, pupil progress reviews and reporting periods.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date pupil and school records.
Manage relevant school databases and information systems.
Enter, update and check student information.
Produce reports for senior leaders and other relevant staff.
Support the school’s assessment and reporting processes.
Assist with the preparation of pupil progress information.
Monitor data for accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Work with staff to resolve data issues.
Ensure information is processed within agreed deadlines.
Maintain appropriate records and documentation.
Assist with the preparation of information for meetings and reviews.
Support senior leaders with data requests.
Produce clear and accessible reports where required.
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive school information.
Ensure information is stored and managed appropriately.
Assist with administrative processes relating to admissions and pupil records.
Support colleagues with the use of relevant data systems.
Help maintain consistent data-entry procedures.
Monitor deadlines relating to assessment and reporting.
Contribute to improving administrative systems where appropriate.
Work collaboratively with the wider school office and leadership team.
Respond efficiently to queries relating to pupil information.
Assist with general administrative duties when required.
Experience and Requirements
The successful candidate should have previous experience working with data, administration, information systems or a similar role.
Experience within a school environment would be highly desirable, particularly where the candidate has worked with pupil records, assessment data or school management systems.
The school is looking for someone who is confident using IT and comfortable working with spreadsheets and databases. Strong Excel skills would be advantageous.
