Senior Admin Officer | Independent Primary School in Haringey
An established independent primary school in Haringey is seeking a highly organised, proactive and experienced Senior Admin Officer to join its school office. This is an excellent opportunity for an administrator who enjoys working in a busy environment and can confidently manage a wide range of responsibilities while providing an outstanding service to pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
The successful candidate will play a central role in the smooth running of the school's administrative function, working closely with senior leaders and supporting colleagues across the school. The position will involve pupil administration, communication, data management, finance, attendance and general office coordination.

The Role
As Senior Admin Officer, you will be a key member of the school's administrative team. You will help coordinate the daily operation of the school office while ensuring that records, communications and administrative systems are maintained accurately.
The role will require someone who is confident dealing with parents and carers, comfortable handling confidential information and capable of remaining calm and professional when managing competing priorities.
You may also be required to support junior administrative colleagues, helping to ensure that office procedures are followed consistently and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day administration of the school office.
Provide administrative support to the Headteacher and senior leadership team.
Maintain accurate pupil and staff records.
Manage attendance and punctuality information.
Support admissions and pupil registration processes.
Maintain and update school databases and management information systems.
Prepare letters, reports, spreadsheets and other documentation.
Deal professionally with telephone calls, emails and general enquiries.
Act as a welcoming first point of contact for parents, carers and visitors.
Support finance administration, including orders, invoices and payments.
Coordinate meetings, appointments and school events.
Liaise with external organisations and professional services where required.
Maintain confidential documentation and ensure information is handled appropriately.
Support other members of the administrative team.
Ensure safeguarding concerns are reported to the appropriate member of staff.
Follow school policies relating to GDPR, safeguarding, health and safety and confidentiality.
