History Teacher - Experience and Qualifications
A degree in History or a closely related subject.
QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching History at secondary level.
Ability to teach confidently across KS3 and KS4.
GCSE History experience.
A-Level History experience would be desirable.
Strong knowledge of historical periods, themes and interpretations.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong classroom management skills.
Ability to challenge and support students of different abilities.
Excellent organisational skills.
Ability to inspire students to develop a genuine interest in History.

Salary
The salary for this History Teacher position will be paid to scale at MPS1 - UPS3, depending on experience.
