The Opportunity

We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Surrey.

This is not a permanent or full-time position. Instead, teachers will be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations, and the needs of local schools.

Daily supply provides excellent flexibility while still allowing you to make a genuine difference in the classroom. Assignments can range from individual days to short blocks of cover, giving you greater control over your working week.

The Role

As a Daily Supply Design & Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons while maintaining a positive, safe, and purposeful classroom environment.

Classroom Teaching: Deliver prepared Design & Technology lessons clearly and confidently, supporting students with both theoretical and practical learning.

Classroom Management: Establish positive relationships with students and maintain high standards of behaviour throughout each lesson.

Lesson Delivery: Follow existing lesson plans and school expectations while using your own teaching expertise to ensure lessons run effectively.

Health & Safety: Ensure students follow appropriate health and safety procedures during practical activities and use equipment responsibly.

Professional Responsibilities: Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures, and expectations while working collaboratively with permanent members of staff.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent where applicable.
