CORE PURPOSE
We are seeking an articulate, academically rigorous, and passionate Business Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction across Key Stage 4 (GCSE Business) and Key Stage 5 (A-Level Business and Economics). Working within an established Humanities and Social Sciences faculty, the successful candidate will inspire pupils in enterprise, financial management, marketing, and global economic principles, equipping them with critical analytical skills and preparing them for top-tier university business pathways.

KEY TASKS & DAILY OPERATIONS
Curriculum Delivery: Plan and teach engaging, case-study-driven Business lessons across GCSE and A-Level specifications (AQA/Pearson Edexcel), exploring real-world corporate strategy, market dynamics, and financial analysis.
Academic Mentorship: Prepare students for university admissions, guide EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) research in commercial fields, and mentor candidates targeting competitive business, finance, and economics degree programs.
Enterprise & Co-Curricular Leadership: Lead extracurricular business initiatives, including the Young Enterprise Scheme, student trading simulations, and national business case-study competitions.
Assessment & Progress Tracking: Rigorously evaluate pupil performance through essay moderation, mock examinations, and structured feedback, ensuring high academic attainment across all key stages.
Pastoral & School Life: Serve as a dedicated Form Tutor, contribute to pastoral oversight, and participate fully in the wider co-curricular and boarding/day life of the independent school community.
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Degree in Business Studies, Economics, Finance, or a related commercial discipline. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS is welcomed, though outstanding practitioners with independent sector experience or strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Experience: Proven experience teaching Business Studies across secondary key stages, with demonstrated success in delivering GCSE and A-Level specifications.
Skills: High-level subject expertise in contemporary business strategy and economics, excellent classroom presentation skills, proficiency with digital educational tools, and the ability to stretch academically ambitious students.
