Our client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Design & Technology teacher to join a successful mixed secondary school in Chelmsford. The successful candidate will be expected to teach DT across KS3 and KS4 and will play an important role within a department that encourages students to combine creativity, practical skills and technical understanding.

The department benefits from excellent specialist facilities and a strong selection of resources, allowing students to develop their confidence through practical projects and design-based learning. The successful DT teacher will work alongside experienced colleagues and a supportive Head of Department who is committed to delivering an engaging and challenging curriculum.

Experience and Qualifications

• DT teacher able to teach across KS3 and KS4

• Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Design & Technology

• Ability to deliver engaging and well-structured practical lessons

• Recognised teaching qualification with QTS, such as PGCE

• Legal eligibility to work within the UK
