Our client is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Chemistry teacher to join a highly regarded mixed secondary school in Colchester. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Chemistry across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to contribute to KS5 teaching depending on experience and subject specialism.

The successful Chemistry teacher will become part of an established and successful Science department that has a strong reputation for delivering consistently high standards. Experience and Qualifications

• Chemistry teacher with the ability to teach effectively across KS3 and KS4

• Ability to teach general Science at KS3 is essential

• KS5 Chemistry teaching experience would be advantageous but is not essential

• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Chemistry

• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, challenging and well-structured lessons

• Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as PGCE

• Legal right and eligibility to work within the UK
