What Will You Be Doing?

Daily supply assignments can vary from a single day to several consecutive days, depending on school requirements.

You’ll generally be expected to:

• Deliver lessons using existing plans and resources

• Teach within your agreed subject specialism

• Maintain a positive and purposeful classroom

• Manage behaviour confidently and consistently

• Register students and follow school procedures

• Support students with their learning

• Adapt quickly to different classes and environments

• Follow the expectations and policies of each school

• Work professionally alongside permanent members of staff

Who We’re Looking For

We’re keen to hear from qualified secondary teachers from all subject backgrounds.

You’ll need:

• QTS or recognised equivalent

• Recent secondary teaching experience

• Strong classroom management skills

• Confidence teaching your specialist subject

• Experience teaching the relevant Key Stages

• A reliable and professional approach

• Good communication skills

• Flexibility around your availability

• A valid legal right to work in the UK
