A Catholic secondary academy in Braintree is looking for a French Teacher to work four days a week within a friendly and purposeful MFL department.

The post will focus on KS3 and GCSE French. You will plan accessible lessons, build pupils' confidence in spontaneous conversation, and help students develop reliable grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. The department also values cultural education, so candidates will be encouraged to use music, short films, articles and everyday scenarios to broaden students' understanding of the French-speaking world.

You should have a relevant teaching qualification or appropriate experience, strong French subject knowledge and a calm classroom presence. Experience with GCSE classes would be useful, although teachers who are ready for a flexible part-time role are encouraged to apply.
