This is an excellent opportunity for a Maths Teacher who wants to work in a structured and supportive department with high expectations for student progress.
You will teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop secure mathematical foundations before progressing towards GCSE. There may also be opportunities to teach A-Level Mathematics for candidates with suitable experience and subject knowledge.
The successful teacher will need to be confident teaching students across a range of abilities. You will be expected to challenge high-performing students while providing clear explanations and appropriate support for students who find aspects of Mathematics more difficult.

You will need to be able to explain mathematical concepts clearly and break down challenging problems into manageable stages without lowering expectations.
Maths Teacher - Curriculum
The department follows a carefully structured curriculum designed to build students' knowledge progressively.
At KS3, you will help students develop secure foundations in areas including number, algebra, geometry, statistics and ratio.
At KS4, you will prepare students for the demands of GCSE Mathematics, ensuring they can apply their knowledge to increasingly complex and unfamiliar questions.
Where appropriate, KS5 teaching may include A-Level Mathematics and potentially Further Mathematics.

A-Level Mathematics experience desirable

A genuine enthusiasm for Mathematics
