Psychology Teacher - The Role

As Psychology Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging Psychology lessons

• Teaching Psychology across KS4 and KS5

• Developing students' ability to evaluate evidence

Psychology Teacher - Curriculum

The successful candidate should have strong knowledge of Psychology and be confident teaching the major areas covered at GCSE and/or A-Level.

Research methods will be an important part of the role, so you should be comfortable explaining research design, data interpretation and the strengths and limitations of different approaches.

Students will also need support developing the ability to construct well-developed arguments. Rather than simply recalling theories or studies, they should be encouraged to evaluate evidence and reach justified conclusions.
