The Opportunity
We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic Drama Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Surrey.
This is not a permanent or full-time position. Instead, teachers will be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations, and the needs of local schools.
Daily supply provides excellent flexibility while still allowing you to make a genuine difference in the classroom. You could find yourself supporting different classes and working within a variety of school communities, with no long-term commitment required.
The Role
As a Daily Supply Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured Drama lessons while maintaining a positive and purposeful classroom environment.
Classroom Teaching: Deliver prepared Drama lessons clearly and confidently, encouraging students to participate creatively and remain engaged.
Classroom Management: Establish positive relationships with students and maintain high standards of behaviour, even when working in an unfamiliar classroom.
Lesson Delivery: Follow existing lesson plans and school expectations while using your own teaching expertise to ensure lessons run effectively.
Student Engagement: Encourage students to develop their confidence, creativity, communication, and performance skills.
Professional Responsibilities: Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures, and expectations while working collaboratively with permanent members of staff.

What We Are Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent where applicable.
Experience teaching Drama within the relevant Key Stages.
