Make RE Meaningful
The successful teacher will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop a strong understanding of religious, philosophical and ethical issues.
You’ll be responsible for:
Teaching Religious Education across KS3 & KS4
Planning and delivering well-structured, challenging lessons
Preparing students for GCSE Religious Studies where required
Encouraging students to discuss and evaluate different viewpoints
Developing students’ knowledge, critical thinking and written responses
Assessing progress and providing clear, constructive feedback
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom expectations
Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the school
The Teacher We're Looking For
The school is looking for a qualified Religious Studies Teacher with strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.
You’ll need to be confident delivering lessons that encourage students to ask questions, challenge ideas and develop well-reasoned opinions.
