The Role
• Teaching: Deliver engaging Spanish lessons across KS3–KS5.
• Communication: Develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Fluency: Encourage students to communicate naturally and confidently.
• Academic Support: Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
• Culture: Bring Spanish-speaking cultures into the classroom through film, music, literature, food, travel, and current affairs.
• Enrichment: Support language clubs, trips, exchanges, and competitions.
• Confidence: Create a classroom where students feel comfortable making mistakes and developing their fluency.
The Candidate
• Strong Spanish: Confident and fluent in spoken and written Spanish.
• Academic Background: A degree in Spanish or a related subject would be preferred.
• Excellent Communicator: Able to explain grammar and language clearly.
• Engaging Teacher: Able to make Spanish relevant to students’ lives.
