We’re looking for someone who can make Computing engaging and relevant while developing students’ technical understanding.
The Role
• Teaching: Deliver Computing lessons across KS3–KS5.
• Programming: Develop students’ coding and computational-thinking skills.
• Digital Knowledge: Teach areas including algorithms, data, networks, programming, and computer systems.
• Exam Preparation: Support students preparing for GCSE and A-Level qualifications.
• Practical Learning: Use programming projects and practical activities to reinforce learning.
• Differentiation: Adapt lessons to support different levels of ability.
• Enrichment: Contribute to coding clubs and wider technology activities.
The Candidate
• Strong Technical Background: A degree in Computing or related subject is desirable.
• Programming Skills: Confident with programming and computational concepts.
• Good Communicator: Able to explain technical ideas clearly.
• Creative Teacher: Able to make Computing accessible and engaging.
