We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Female PE Teacher (ECT) to join a thriving independent school in Abingdon this September.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Teach PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to contribute at Key Stage 5 where appropriate.

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive and challenging PE lessons.

• Develop pupils' physical skills, confidence, teamwork and sporting knowledge.

• Encourage participation, resilience and a positive attitude towards physical activity.

• Support students to achieve strong academic and practical outcomes.

• Contribute to a broad and varied PE curriculum.

• Support girls' sport and help encourage participation and confidence among female pupils.

• Take part in fixtures, clubs, competitions, trips and wider sporting activities.

• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
