The Role
The successful candidate will:
Teach Health and Social Care across relevant Key Stages.
Plan and deliver engaging, practical and academically challenging lessons.
Inspire students to develop their understanding of health, wellbeing, development and care.
Support students of all abilities through inclusive and differentiated teaching.
Prepare students effectively for relevant examinations and coursework.
Develop students' analytical, research and communication skills.
Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
Contribute to schemes of work, curriculum development and departmental resources.
Support enrichment activities and the wider life of the school.
Contribute to the pastoral life of the school, including form tutoring where required.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a candidate who:
Holds or is working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has a degree in Health and Social Care, Psychology, Sociology, Education or a related subject.
Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Health and Social Care.
Is enthusiastic about developing their teaching practice as an Early Career Teacher.
Has high expectations for student achievement, behaviour and personal development.
Is reflective, organised and committed to continuous professional development.
Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
