A successful school in Maidenhead is seeking a proactive, organised and experienced School Operations Lead to join its dedicated leadership and support team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong operational and administrative experience who can take ownership of key school systems, ensure high standards across day-to-day operations and provide effective support to staff, pupils and the wider school community.
Working closely with senior leaders, you will help ensure the school runs efficiently, safely and effectively. You will play a key role across administration, premises, compliance, health and safety, staff support, contractors and school events.
The Opportunity
As School Operations Lead, you will:
Oversee the smooth day-to-day operational running of the school.
Manage administrative systems, processes and records, ensuring they remain accurate and up to date.
Support health and safety, safeguarding, compliance and risk management procedures.
Coordinate premises, facilities, maintenance and contractors where required.
Ensure the school site is safe, secure, welcoming and well maintained.
Support the organisation of school events, meetings, examinations and wider activities.
Monitor operational issues and respond promptly, using initiative to resolve problems.
Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and provide effective operational support.
Manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of school systems and processes.
About You
The successful candidate will:
Have previous experience in school administration, operations, facilities or a similar role.
Have a strong understanding of school operations, safeguarding, health and safety and compliance.
Be highly organised, proactive and confident working independently.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be able to manage multiple priorities in a busy school environment.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
Be confident working with staff, pupils, parents, contractors and external stakeholders.
Be flexible, dependable and committed to supporting the wider school community.
