Key Responsibilities
Teach engaging, high-impact Chemistry lessons across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5 (A-Level)
Plan and execute safe, hands-on quantitative and qualitative laboratory practicals adhering to CLEAPSS standards
Prepare students for GCSE Separate Science and A-Level Chemistry examinations through structured assessment, feedback, and exam technique workshops
Support extracurricular STEM initiatives, including Chemistry Olympiads, Science Week events, and university extension classes
Serve as a Form Tutor, providing pastoral guidance, tracking, and academic support to your tutor group
Collaborate with science technicians to maintain high safety standards, chemical storage protocols, and equipment inventory
Contribute to ongoing scheme-of-work enhancements and digital learning platforms
Support the day-to-day operations and strategic growth of the Science department
