Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-impact lessons covering algorithm design, Python programming, object-oriented principles, and computer architecture

• Prepare Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students for rigorous GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring strong technical understanding and exam technique

• Lead departmental enrichment initiatives, such as coding clubs, robotics teams, hackathons, and cybersecurity challenges

• Collaborate with faculty to develop cutting-edge digital learning resources, automated code-checking tools, and scheme-of-work modules

• Track, assess, and report on student progress, delivering targeted intervention strategies to maximize pupil attainment

• Maintain hardware, software environments, and network safety tools in close coordination with IT network technicians

• Fulfill pastoral responsibilities as a Form Tutor within the school's established care system

• Support the day-to-day operations and strategic growth of the Computing department
